Official events were held on November 16-18 on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Latvia.

On November 16-18, 2018 Ambassador Javanshir Akhundov attended the official events and state ceremonies on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Latvia. Within the framework of the events, the ambassador participated at the official reception hosted by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Latvia, Ecumenical Service at the Riga Dome Cathedral, Ceremonial Session of the Parliament of the Republic of Latvia hosted by the Speaker of the Saeima, flower- laying ceremony at the freedom monument, National Armed Forces Parade in Riga and the concert hosted by the President of the Republic of Latvia at the Latvian National Theatre.
